The stainless steel bombilla is sleek, long and slender. Stainless steel is the best metal for bombillas because it won’t oxidise, and will last a long while. The mouthpiece is formed by double thickness stainless steel and is curved at the neck so heats up less and is comfortable to use.
The filter head unscrews and splits into 2 parts for ease of cleaning. It clips back together before screwing back, which makes it easy to put together

Brewing Your Yerba Mate
The tradition of drinking yerba mate is such an important part of the South American culture. This is specifically true in Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil, although in addition it is also enjoyed in other South American countries. Typically, it is drunk from a natural gourd (a hollowed out fruit) used as a cup. It is then sipped through a metal straw known as a bombilla that has a filtered end to separate the infusion from the yerba leaves.
